Just Because We Care

Building Better, Brighter Futures for Children in Honduras

Who We Are

Founded in 2003 by Bob and Diane Wamhoff, Timmy’s Mountain is committed to transforming the lives of children in Honduras. We provide essential resources, education, and support to children in need, empowering them to build better, brighter futures.

Our efforts have significantly impacted the community by offering daily meals and quality education, including college and vocational training. These initiatives have empowered countless children and their families, leading to higher school enrollment, improved academic performance, and better livelihoods, fostering hope and creating new opportunities.

Join us in our mission to create lasting change and support Timmy’s Mountain. Together, we can inspire progress, transform lives, and empower a new generation to thrive and succeed.

What We Provide

All proceeds feed and educate more than 225 children on Timmy’s Mountain in Honduras.

We provide breakfast every day and lunches twice a week. Every morning, each student receives a glass of milk and a vitamin to start their day with nourishment.
Our balanced lunches are designed by a nutritionist, keeping the children healthy, focused, and energized, encouraging them to make the most of their education.
We offer quality education from kindergarten through high school, including computer training from first grade to 12th grade to equip students with essential skills.
We provide English and advanced computer training for high school students, and advanced agronomy, to equip them with valuable skills for better job opportunities.

Daily nourishment and education provide children with the mental stamina to stay awake and concentrate in class, resulting in higher academic achievement.

Upon arrival in Nueva Granada, the children were learning about computers from books and had no access to actual computers. Today, we have 43 computers in use.
