Meet Our Team
At Timmy’s Mountain, we have a team of passionate, dedicated individuals committed to transforming lives and communities in Honduras.
Bob and Diane Wamhoff
Bob and Diane Wamhoff are the driving force behind Timmy’s Mountain. Their journey began with the loss of their son, Timmy Ellison, in a car accident at the age of 23. In honoring Timmy’s memory, they channeled their grief into a mission of hope and transformation.
In 2003, Diane traveled to Honduras, where she discovered a mountain community in desperate need. Distraught by the severe malnutrition and lack of educational opportunities among the children, she committed to making a difference. With the support of Bob and their families, they founded Timmy’s Mountain.
Together, Bob and Diane have dedicated their lives to feeding, clothing, and educating over 225 children in Honduras. Their compassion, dedication, and tireless efforts have not only improved the lives of these children but have also fostered a sense of hope and possibility within the community.
Diane retired in 2019, while Bob continues to carry on the work. Bob and Diane’s legacy is one of love, resilience, and unwavering commitment to making the world a better place—one child at a time.
Dr. Lyndy Mae Flores Rivera
Lyndy joined our high school program and, with Timmy’s Mountain’s support, pursued her dream of becoming a doctor. Deeply moved by Bob and Diane’s kindness and dedication, Lyndy quickly formed a strong bond with them. Diane and Bob sponsored her through college, and in 2016, Lyndy graduated with her medical degree in Honduras.
Driven by gratitude and a commitment to her community, Lyndy oversees the day-to-day operations of Timmy’s Mountain and runs a clinic for the poor in Nueva Granada. She is dedicated to helping other children in her community achieve their dreams, just as she did.
